About

I’m Rebecca, a 20-something lawyer come blogger come eBayer come charity shopper living in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland.  I’m a major tea enthusiast, a vintage fashion victim and a lover of all things literary. I like to cook and bake and I persist with city cycling despite regular brushes with both death and the pavement.

This blog is my place to write, to rant, to share and to connect.  The subject matter varies, from fashion to food to books to travelling to all sorts of random things, like cool words in other languages and my difficult relationship with choice.

Please feel free to leave a comment and introduce yourself.  Better still, send me an email and let’s become friends.

Enjoy!

Hey Rebecca – I found your blog googling for capsule wardrobe inspiration (after pulling everything out of the cupboards and piling it on the bed!) How delightful to find that you too live in Edinburgh. Loved your writing & advice and we feel the same way about ironing. I have bookmarked you and will now make regular visits :)  Best Wishes Joanne x x

Hello Rebecca, I found your blog whilst looking into capsule wardrobes (I’m planning to sew my own for a holdiay). I’m also a thrifty, vintage, ethical consumer and am really enjoying reading your posts. Just thought I’d say hi.

Well welcome aboard!  Sorry it’s taken me an age to reply to your lovely message – I’m kinda terrible that way I have to confess!  Lovely to hear from you, and thanks for the encouragement!

Hi Joanne, nice to hear from you, and thanks for your kind words!  I hope the capsule wardrobe posts were useful – to be honest I wrote them because I too have been in that ‘all clothes on the bed’ predicament more times than I care to remember!
